Human iPS cell derived Cardiomyocyte
ReproCELL range of products and services for the functional characterization of cardiomyocytes open up the possibilities for cardiac research. Assays are available for monkey and human iPS and ES derived cells. ReproCELL's proprietary protein-free media allows cells to function for extended periods whilst the assay is performed. These first assay to be extensively validated is QTempo. This cardiotoxicity assay allows the direct measurement of QT prolongation and other parameters in an in-vitro functional assay that comes close to in-vivo conditions. Assays that previously required animal work can now be carried out in-vitro. We are happy to discuss the use of our assay in any research or development projects. We are able to develop cardiomyocytes for any disease model for which skin cells can be harvested from a patient.
